Human Rights Lawyer Arrested For Standing On NYC Sidewalk Waiting For Kids To Use Bathroom

mycinderelladream:

PEOPLE NEED TO BE TALKING ABOUT THIS. THIS NEEDS TO BE A THING. FUCKING RIDICULOUS. She’s a top lawyer, an extremely intelligent and well-spoken, not to mention, important woman in modern society who was arrested BECAUSE SHE WAS STANDING ON A SIDEWALK WAITING FOR HER CHILDREN TO COME OUT OF THE TOILET. If someone of her status was arrested for something so menial due to her race and religion, if A LAWYER’s rights were so blatantly violated, what hope does the rest of society have? If such incidents are transpiring everyday, is Ferguson even a surprise? ridiculous.
